Species Overview

Drones are autonomous machine constructs, created to act as Salvador King's hands, senses, and laborers across the surface of Jad and beyond. Though individual drones may be heavily modified for different assignments, all originate from the same fundamental chassis and remain recognizable members of a single manufactured species.

Rather than depending upon continuous long-range communication, drones receive vital information through refined crystals consumed by specialized structures on their undersides. These crystals provide data, mapping, instructions, and coordination information, allowing a drone to operate independently once informed.
